President Trump faces perhaps the most momentous decision a president has had to make. Will he invoke the 2018 executive order pertaining to elections fraud and foreign interference therein? The truth is, the president may have no other choice. The federal courts – the U.S. Supreme Court, to date, in particular – have turned their backs on redressing November’s historic elections fraud. GOP controlled legislatures in contested battleground states aren’t likely to decertify Biden electors (fraud slates) and install electors who reflect the will of a majority of voters. And, really, what do we expect from Congress on January 6?

I’m not pretending to be an Old Testament prophet, no Jerimiah. I don’t have to be. Anyone willing to look reality hard in the eye can see: The nation is moving inexorably toward crises. Dark days are just over the horizon. The American people will be tested in ways at no time since the Civil War. Our liberties, the rule of law, our nation under God, hangs in the balance. Will we be free or will tyranny prevail?

Speaking the truth doesn’t make us drama queens (or kings) or Chicken Littles. Let’s remind ourselves of key facts that compel this gloomy assessment:

Bring on 2021… the Country is in for a Rough Ride

It was in the musical Camelot (the movie) when King Pellinore (Lionel Jefferies) advices Arthur (Richard Harris) that the “uglier the truth, the truer the friend who tells you.”

Now, with mere weeks to go before the year changes, we have to confront an ugly truth. 2020 is just prelude to crises and conflicts to come. When they end, we cannot say. The 2020s may prove a troubled decade. I don’t pretend to have a crystal ball. But there are matters we can be sure of. One need only survey the scene – the wreckage, really – of 2020 to understand that America faces the gravest risks to its existence as a free and united country in 160 years.

If the Elections are Stolen, the Biden Nightmare Begins

Immersed as we are in President Trump’s efforts to wrestle victory from a sinister collection of fraudsters, we’re understandably sparing little time to consider what happens if addled Joe Biden’s handlers get away with stealing the elections. These gleeful rogues – Democrat hacks, malignant leftists, BLM grifters, Antifa spoiled brats, DC lifers, traitorous RINOs, Big Tech plutocrats, MSM propagandists – all suffering a variety of conceits, are convinced they’re pulling off the biggest heist in their wretched existences. Maybe a new Leni Riefenstahl will be found in Biden’s press pool to immortalize the feat?

This is War

We are at war with enemies of liberty, domestic and foreign. Domestic enemies are now pressing us all the more. Why shrink from the word “enemy,” the simple definition of which is “one seeking to injure, overthrow, or confound an opponent.” Who other are these warmakers?

This war is much more than disputes over fraudulent elections, though that would be cause enough. The Democratic Party is a means. The new war has been imagined, developed, and phased in over decades by the left. It’s unconventional, asymmetric, and cunning. It’s insidious, and has been about stealth and infiltration more so than outright confrontation – until this year, when state shutdowns have been imposed to test the limits of tyranny… to gauge the level of tolerance of unconstitutional centralized rule over a free people. Targeted violence has been employed in cities to engender angst, a sense of helplessness, and, consequently, to demoralize us.

The Greatest Threat Ever to Our Liberty

Saturday at Newsmax, General Michael Flynn said this about the Democrats perpetrating elections fraud on an unprecedented scale:

“Right now, we are at risk,” Flynn added. “This is going to place this country at risk, if we get this wrong.” Then Flynn stated:

“This is bigger than the presidency,” Flynn said. “I’ll say this is bigger than Donald Trump. This is bigger than Vice President [Joe] Biden. This is much bigger. This is the presidency of the United States of America. It’s the Constitution of the United States of America. It’s a process we’ve had for almost 250 years.” Need we say the franchise is indispensable to our republic? Elections fraud isn’t new, but never in the nation’s history has this basic right been so comprehensively assaulted, so jeopardized. The Civil War was an attempt to split the nation, not deprive Union states’ citizens of their constitutional rights. We’re on new and very dangerous turf.

Remember Reagan’s Words When You Vote for Trump

“You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin — just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard ’round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn’t die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well it’s a simple answer after all.

You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, “There is a price we will not pay.” “There is a point beyond which they must not advance.” And this — this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater’s “peace through strength.” Winston Churchill said, “The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we’re spirits — not animals.” And he said, “There’s something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.”

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.

We’ll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we’ll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.”

— Ronald Reagan

Is Pennsylvania Primed for Major Ballot Fraud?

WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court on Monday refused to disturb a ruling by Pennsylvania’s highest court that extended the battleground state’s deadline for accepting mail-in ballots, a win for Democrats that gives voters more time to navigate postal delays and avoid in-person voting.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the court’s three liberal members to leave intact a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision extending by three days the time for receipt of absentee ballots and allowing those with illegible postmarks to be counted if received by the deadline.

When are Local and State Governments Illegitimate?

Watching Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday night, my stomach turned and heart sank. Carlson ran video footage of a couple in Portland being dragged from their pickup truck and beaten. Their sin: their whiteness. The culprits, BLM thugs.

There were no police to intervene. Portland police, like Seattle and Minneapolis police, are practically neutered. Police are hamstrung, defunded, and demoralized in these cities. Many have handed in their notices. National Guard deployments are verboten. Curfews are nonexistence. The human excrement that pummels innocents to within inches of their lives are ghouls prowling the night. They’d come for us, if they could.

Must We Fight Cancel Culture with Cancel Culture?

J Robert Smith

This article originally appeared at www.americanthinker.com.

As of August, 2020, we Americans are embroiled in an intensifying cold civil war. Democrats and the left are the aggressors. Cancel culture is a chief weapon. It’s not being employed wholesale – yet – but is being selectively used as a means of instilling fear in the citizenry. Cancel culture, in other words, is a terror weapon.

As morally repugnant as cancel culture is, in war the question is invariably asked: Must we fight fire with fire? Must we cancel the left and its allies to stop their Jacobin terror? It’s a legitimate question.
