The X-Files once had a tagline for describing administrative state nefariousness: Deceive, Inveigle, Obfuscate. Clearly, that is the mantra for the parts of the intelligence community that are still beholden to Obama’s bewitching ideological spell (as well as the Clinton family’s implied threats against any who dare to oppose their unjust claim to power).

Quick Take
Every American with common sense, a commitment to basic rights, and liberty should worry. The informal alliance of Democrats, Deep State players, and the MSM going after President Trump can, one day, come after you.
Why you, though? You don’t hold political power. You work, and your time otherwise is dedicated to family and friends. You vote, sure. You pay your taxes. Why would you be on a hit list?
So why worry?
The ceaseless attacks on President Trump aren’t just political games. They have consequences well beyond Washington. They’re an ugly precedent. They’re the work of a cabal. The aforementioned Democrats, Deep Staters, and the MSM.
You have to ask yourself, why does that confederacy want to destroy Trump? Power, yes, but to what end? Power for power’s sake? Or the power to impose? To impose what?
The confederacy after Trump wants to impose its will and worldview. It’s reasons are practically contrary to the America created by the founders.
The leftist Democratic Party embraces tyranny. Tyranny takes different forms. It’s not always embodied by a Führer or a Maximum Leader. It can be an oligarchy, similar to what Xi leads in China and Putin leads in Russia. It can be bureaucratic, as with the evolving tyranny of the European Union. There can be tyranny of the majority, which is why our Constitution has safeguards for the individual and seeks to hamstring government.
The Democrats and their allies aim to “transform America.” Barack Obama announced that when he first ran for president in 2008. This isn’t a benign transformation in step with founding principles. It’s a radical remake of the nation.
No? Listen to Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Watch the Democrats’ presidential debates. The Green New Deal alone would devastate the U.S. economy and dramatically reduce every American’s life. But not the lives of the elite. The elite in a tyranny prosper. It would place unprecedented power in the hands of government. The Green New Deal would give to government, through policies and law, the power to remake your life.
You don’t have to be a president or high-profile political figure to be singled out for destruction. If the leftist cabal succeeds in destroying Trump and retaking power in 2020 or thereabouts, if you step out of line, you could be singled out.
In Orwellian fashion, China is developing a “social credits system.” It’s about powerful databases and technology that tracks your social activities. It rates them – good or bad. It imposes sanctions.
From Business Insider, October 29, 2018:
The Chinese state is setting up a vast ranking system that will monitor the behavior of its enormous population, and rank them all based on their “social credit.”
The Chinese ranking system is a tool to control every Chinese. Technology is the enforcer, in large part. Get crosswise the government and a citizen can be denied credit for a loan. A job. Transportation. A marriage could be disapproved of – if the bride or groom is an offender. With a more draconian application, the system could deny food, shelter, and medical care.
If you don’t think that American leftists and their allies are casting a covetous eye on the Chinese ranking system, think again.
From FastCompany, August 26, 2019:
Many Westerners are disturbed by what they read about China’s social credit system. But such systems, it turns out, are not unique to China. A parallel system is developing in the United States, in part as the result of Silicon Valley and technology-industry user policies, and in part by surveillance of social media activity by private companies.
Much of Silicon Valley is allied with Democrats and the left. The development of nongovernmental applications come perilously close to trampling individual rights. Legal challenges must surely arise. How much of a leap is it from odious private sector applications of social credit systems to government applications? It’s apparent why this would be a desirable tool to the left. It’s a powerful means to transform society.
What if the Democrats and their allies manage to destroy the president? Their next task will be finding ways to muzzle or destroy politicians allied with him. They’ll work to contain and marginalize Trump’s tens of millions of supporters. And if they eventually win the power they crave, don’t dare step out of line.
What do you think? Weigh in?
