Joe Biden: The Associated Press is cited sources inside Democratic presidential nominee-designate Joe Biden’s campaign that the Vice-Presidential running mate list has been narrowed to six individuals.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Kamala Harris (D-CA), Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM), US Representative and former Orlando Police Chief Val Demings (D-FL), Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, and former UN Ambassador Susan Rice comprise Mr. Biden’s reported final list of potential running mates. Long ago, the former Vice President said he would choose a female running mate. Absent from the list are Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Georgia gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams, who are eliminated. The campaign spokespeople indicate the choice will be made public on or slightly before August 1st.

New Hampshire: The Granite State’s St. Anselm University, which conducts political polling, just completed an online survey of 1,072 registered voters during the June 13-16 period. CNN’s Lame Push Poll: Boosting Biden and Voter Suppression

It has been several cycles since neutral political observers could look at any of the polling from major media outlets with confidence of their accuracy. Mainstream media uses polling as a way to mold public opinion as much as reflect it. The better, and more neutral independent polling organizations care a bit more about their reputations because they have clients from the corporate and not-for-profit world. Most contemporary media organizations are just pushing an agenda. The latest example comes from CNN. They are actively attempting to mold public opinion, fire-up the Democratic base, and discourage Republicans.

SPECIAL: Free Blacks from White Progressive Democrats

“What I’m saying to Black America, we must stop victimizaton [sp]. We must stop complaining about what white folks have done to us in the past. We must go into ourselves, as Dr. King said, and find indelible ink — our own emancipation proclamation.”

Robert Woodson Interview, CNS News, May 12, 2015

THE TAKE

Black generational poverty is a fact. It’s persisted, if not increased, since Lyndon Johnson’s “Not-So-Great-Society” was launched in the mid-1960s. That seems contrary to common sense, but it isn’t. You must look deeper – to the facts and politics – to appreciate why Democrats’ policies and governance have failed poor blacks, spectacularly.

Elections 2020: Fighting Mail-in Ballot Fraud in California

Focus: Governor/States

California: The Republican National Committee and California Republican Party have filed a federal lawsuit in the Eastern District of California attempting to declare unlawful Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) executive order that all voters be mailed absentee ballots for the coming general election. Previously, absentee ballot request forms were sent prior to a qualified voter receiving an actual ballot. Among other points, the lawsuit contends that, “automatically mail(ing) ballots to inactive voters…invites fraud, coercion, theft, and otherwise illegitimate voting. Fraudulent and invalid votes dilute the votes of honest citizens and deprive them of their right to vote in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Biden Looks Moderate Only Next to the Clown Car of Candidates He Ran Against

The Democratic Party has, indisputably, grown more liberal/socialist over the few years. Surveys have shown that 75% of Democratic voters would vote for a socialist. Today, a fair number of Democratic Party leaders are acknowledged socialists, support socialist policies, or try to put a different spin on things by claiming to be “Democratic” Socialists.

That, of course, is a contradiction in terms. Being a Democratic Socialist makes as much sense as saying you support free slavery or non-lethal capital punishment. Socialism, by definition, reduces freedom. That’s the point, and many Democrats are now openly comfortable with it.

On Monday, we focus on governors’ races.

Focus: Senate

Alabama: Apparently, former US Attorney General and Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions realizes he is not getting back in President Trump’s good graces after the latter man reiterated his strong support for retired Auburn University head football coach Tommy Tuberville in the upcoming Republican Senate runoff election scheduled for July 14th. Mr. Sessions tweeted a response to President Trump that the law required his recusal from the Mueller investigation and that he (Trump) should be grateful the rule of law was preserved; action, Sessions contended, principally responsible for the President being exonerated in the Russia investigation.

Arizona Poll: In the middle of May, OH Predictive Insights (5/9-11; 600 AZ likely general election voters) released their Arizona statewide survey that received considerable attention in the political pundit community due to the Grand Canyon State’s importance in the presidential campaign. With its 11 electoral votes, Arizona is a must-win state for the Trump campaign. The OH poll found former Vice President Biden leading 50-43%, his largest margin to date, but little in the way of analysis accompanied the poll release.
