When we last visited, we had begun to discuss the decline of the FBI. Its failures go hand in hand with the corruption of the DOJ. At one point, our nationally prominent law enforcement apparatus was the envy of the world. No more.

Here are a few more instances to ponder.

As much as you may have grown weary of hearing about it, remember Hillary’s emails? There was abundant evidence she committed a crime. The FBI director laid it out publicly. Yet, “J. Edgar” Comey took it upon himself to announce a decision not to prosecute. In spite of the fact that he has zero authority to make that determination.

No discussion of anti-Trumpers would be complete without a look at the Lincoln Project. They were promoted as Republicans who were so offended by President Trump’s character, rhetoric, actions, or morals they simply could not support him. They claim to be conservative constitutionalists who find Trump so reprehensible they would prefer to have a far left/nascent socialist in office.

That’s worthy of reflection. Assume for a moment you’re a hardcore Constitutional Conservative. Short of compelling proof of a crime, a candidate going on a killing spree, kidnapping elderly nuns, or assassinating puppies, what would they have to do to persuade you to support the most extreme leftist ticket in your lifetime? Right. Hard to think of anything. Especially once your candidate had established an actual governing track record that was indisputably conservative in most ways.

Perhaps the least debatable statement one can make about the 2020 campaign is that it is going to be unusual. Duh. In a year characterized by riots, a pandemic, and an invasion of rabid honey badgers, it is almost inevitable the election will be different.

Democratic leaders and their sycophantic cadre of flying monkeys in the media are circulating the message that, whatever happens, they will not concede. The Hildebeast, notably, has said Biden should not concede. The careful reader might notice that the Democrats have been promoting the fear that Trump will not concede, even if he loses, but have no problem doing that very thing. In 2000, the Democrats set the standard for not accepting election results. Al Gore fought until, literally, there were no legal options remaining. The key issue was Florida, where Gore never led a single vote count. Ultimately, fewer than 700 votes in Florida determined the winner. Which reminds us how important it is to make sure there is no fraudulent voting, or inaccurate counts.

Although many voters would like to have more palatable choices November 3, we know how the field for this contest will be striped. But there are interesting wild cards that could make an already unpleasant year even worse. Or better. Let’s look at a few today, with more to come.

– Biden is weak and not up to the task. The campaign is following a “less is more” strategy. If he could hide in his basement for four more months, not even exiting long enough to see his shadow, they’d consider it ideal. The more voters learn about Biden the less they like him. Former VA Governor Terry MacAuliffe, one of the Clinton’s leading bag men, discussed it in a call with supporters.

(CNN)The National Security Council’s top Ukraine expert told House impeachment investigators on Tuesday that he tried to make changes to the White House’s rough transcript of the July phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President, including that Trump mentioned tapes of former Vice President Joe Biden, according to a source familiar with the matter.
