Do You Believe That Right-Wing Activists are a Threat to America?

By Rob Meyne

It is essential to the leftists pulling Biden’s strings for you to believe right-wing activists are a great threat to America. That is in spite of the fact that there have been zero large, deadly right-wing attacks since Oklahoma City. And that was one lunatic, not an organization.

The media and leftists/anti-Trumpers continue to call the January 6 riot “deadly,” implying that Trump supporters killed people. They did not. The only person killed was shot by a Capitol Hill police officer.

But they need Americans to be afraid, panicked, and blame their fellow countrymen. Generally, conservatives dislike the policies of leftists. The leftists dislike us.

In a nation this large and diverse, there will always be examples of bad conduct, on all sides of the political discourse. The question, however, is whether it can be substantiated that right wing violence is the main domestic threat. The quick answer is no.
Recently, the National Association of School Boards, working with the help of the White House, accused parents who attend school board meetings of being domestic terrorists. Attorney General Merrick Garland agreed. He directed the FBI to watch parents and look for crimes. Got it? The FBI is watching parents, rather than Muslim terrorists, ANTIFA, or BLM.

Fact or Consensus? It Can’t Be Both

By Rob Meyne

Those who went to a liberal arts school or just had a good general education know a little bit about the scientific method. Under the broader banner of “science,” it is used widely in today’s political discourse.

The scientific method relies on continuing experimentation, testing, and confirming hypotheses. Scientific “proof” must be made public, the data shared, and the test replicable.

How do we know 32 degrees F is freezing? We know it because we have evaluated it thousands of times and, in the absence of mitigating factors, gotten the same result.

Last weekend there was a story on aspirin. New studies suggest aspirin may not be a good tactic for preventing heart attack or stroke. For many years, it has been considered unchallenged “fact.” Millions of people have been advised, by their health care professionals, to take small, daily doses of aspirin.

Biden’s “Win” Was Against All Odds

By Rob Meyne

One of the ways courts, auditors, regulators, and other investigators determine the likelihood of a specific act is through statistical analysis. It is hugely useful in not determining exactly what did or did not happen – a crime, embezzlement, etc. – but it gives you a good idea where to look further.

In regard to 2020, there is a lot of information that screams loudly that something wasn’t right. When a series of things happen that were statistically nearly impossible, the result was, too.

Every four years, Census takes a measure of how many people report having voted. Every time, the results they get are very close to the actual turnout. This year, however, the Census number suggested there were some 5 million more votes counted than cast. This has never happened before.

This linked article (Chronicles: Biden’s Inexplicable Victory) discusses eleven different statistical or historical anomalies that we are to believe occurred in 2020. None of them suggests a Biden victory was likely. Essentially all of them suggest Trump was not only a favorite, but a prohibitive one, and likely won in terms of legal votes that were counted accurately.

Trump supporters were far more enthusiastic; attendance at his events was through the roof, and just the energy and effort of the campaign was hugely in favor of the GOP. Biden didn’t so much as run for office as nap for it. He seldom even left his basement.

Why Is It Dangerous
To Ask Questions About January 6?

By Rob Meyne

  • 2-min read

You’ve heard January 6 was the biggest attack on our democracy since the Civil War. This statement is so ridiculous, by itself, that you don’t need more examples. But you have also heard it was a deadly, armed action, with killings by domestic terrorists. You’ve heard it was an insurrection, seditious, a treasonous act. You’ve heard it was instigated, planned, and coordinated by Trump and his supporters.

The problem is none of that is supported by facts.

When Americans are being accused of committing treason, yet the FBI announces it has found no evidence of that, it should put an end to much of that talk. Check out the extensive discussion about whether January 6 involved treason or sedition, from the Guardian. (The Guardian: Treason or Sedition?)

It is inarguable that January 6 saw a riot. People should be held accountable for violence and any other criminal activities. If a protestor swung a flagpole at a police officer, or shot bear spray at them, they should be punished. No one in authority on either side denies that.

It is unproven, and hyperbolic in the extreme, to suggest it was a deadly insurrection. No one was killed that day by MAGA supporters. The only person shot was an unarmed female U. S. veteran who was killed in cold blood by a Capitol Hill police officer.

Facebook and Other Social Media Want Governmental Control, Censorship, and Power

By Rob Meyne

Those who value our freedoms, above other political priorities, generally consider speech as the most important of them all. There is good reason for this.

People who are well-informed, open to different points of view, and even exposed to statements that are at times controversial, tend to make good decisions. Many of our founders expressed faith in the people to make choices that keep the country strong, free, and successful, provided they have access to information and can participate in a free and robust debate.

You don’t hear much from Pelosi and Schumer, for example, celebrating free, open discussions. To the contrary. Pelosi criticized the media last week for not gong more to sell and promote the Democratic agenda. Most observers know most of the media is in the tank for leftists, but most Dem leaders aren’t usually bold enough to openly admit it.

We are now witnessing a coordinated attempt by social media, legacy media, and Democratic leaders to set up national censorship and control of social media. More people get their news today from social media than any other source (God help us). The White House has already bragged that they work directly with social media platforms – Twitter, Facebook/Fakebook, You Tube – to censor posts by private individuals and groups.

The supposed “whistleblower” from Facebook is at the center of the effort.

Will We See Another Presidential Run by Donald Trump in 2024?

All Trump. All the Time?

Appropriately for Halloween, these words will bring a smile to some faces, shock and horror to others: Trump 2024!

Q: Is it possible we will see another presidential run by Donald Trump in 2024? A: Do bears defecate in the woods?

Fortunately for conservative patriots, there are good options for 2024. Our bench is solid. See here. But Trump is the favorite for the nomination. Others are conservative and successful, but his willingness to fight, consequences be damned, sets him apart from most Republicans.

Probably the best alternative, from the standpoint of effectiveness, is at this time Governor Ron DeSantis. He is probably the best, after Trump, at pushing back against politically correct garbage spewed by leftists.

You could make money operating the spine rental concession in the Capitol. We need to fight, speak the truth, and elect leaders who will.

Biden Wants to Change the World’s Most Successful Economic System

Rob Meyne

Last week, White House prevaricator-in-chief, Jen Psaki, mentioned that the President wants to make “fundamental change” in our economy. She gave an air of urgency comparable to an announcement of what flavor of ice cream Biden chose. See here.

Psaki added that Biden thinks the pandemic is the perfect opportunity to launch a total rehaul of our economy. WTF? Why does that make sense? Even if one wanted to restructure the economy, why would it make sense to do it at a time when people are struggling to get jobs, earn a living, and get back to normal? It is like changing the rule in the middle of a game you are already losing.

Fundamental change? Who signed up for that? Did he campaign on that? Or anything, for that matter, on those race occasions when he ventured out of his basement?

You may remember this event from February 2. Biden wandered outside his house, saw his shadow, and that meant 2021 would be another year of incompetence and mendacity.

If January 6 Was So Bad,
Why Do They Lie About It?

Rob Meyne

  • Oct. 18, 2021
  • 1-min read

The mainstream media, leftists, socialists, Democratic leaders, and anti-Trumpers – but I repeat myself – have worked 24/7 to convince you the January 6 riot was worse than it was.

Question: if January 6 was the worst attack on our democracy in history, WHY do they have to lie, exaggerate, and claim it was something it was not? No one had to exaggerate the negative aspects of the Civil War, MLK assassination, or 9-11. Those were genuinely terrible events based entirely on a reasonable look at the facts.

Yet, with January 6, there are non-stop articles that exaggerate, mischaracterize, and lie.

The attached article raises just five of the lies and injustices that are involved in reacting to these events. Among them:

  • A federal judge has ordered an investigation into violations of civil rights of people arrested in the riot. Some have even been denied necessary medical care.
  • People are being sentenced to longer terms than even prosecutors requested, for crimes as innocuous as entering the Capitol to take selfies.
  • People have been held in solitary confinement for being in the Capitol, denied bail, and not yet even assigned a trial date.
  • No one has been charged with insurrection, treason, etc. The FBI has said they found no evidence that it was a coordinated, planned, national act of insurrection.
  • The most egregious lie being spread is that the attack was deadly. Well, it was if you were a Trump supporter. The ONLY person killed in the Capitol was Ashli Babbitt, a veteran who was shot, in cold blood, with no warning, by a Capitol Police Officer. She was unarmed and presented no threat to anyone. Yet the officer claimed he saved lives that day.

In addition to Babbitt, a Capitol Police officer died later, after the riot, from a stroke. Others also died from natural causes. But Trump supporters killed no one. They carried no guns. And they did not present a deadly threat. Period.

There isn’t a person in leadership or prominent in the media who has said the January 6 attack was a good thing. None. For the nascent fascists in charge of our nation, however, it is important for you to believe it was something that it was not: a planned, deadly, coordinated effort to overthrow the government carried out by armed domestic terrorists.

It was a mostly impromptu riot, with fights and scuffles, by people who are frustrated by an election they do not believe was legally conducted. The violence they actually carried out was bad enough. No one defends it. But it was not the worst attack on our Democracy in a century. Anyone who claims that is either uninformed or intentionally lying to you. Or both.

The IRS Wants to Look in Your Wallet

Rob Meyne

  • Oct. 15, 2021
  • 1-min read

The IRS is ready to peer into your purse or wallet. Well, at least your bank account.

Bien’s $3.5 trillion dollar bill includes more than spending. It is a blueprint for the economic restructuring and a wholesale shift in our priorities. It sets the stage for a move away from an entrepreneurial, capitalist, free society to one dedicated to reallocating wealth, distributing assets based on sex and skin color, and ensuring equality of result rather than opportunity.

The Biden Administration announced this change in federal policy in its first few days. They said their goal is equity (equal results) in federal programs rather than equal opportunity. The former is socialist dogma; the latter is the basis of a free constitutional republic.

It is hard to think of a change in policy that could be more important.

Washington is also determined to spy on your personal, private financial matters. The legislation contains a provision that will give the IRS access to your bank accounts if they involve an annual aggregate amount of $600 or more. (Many Americans spend more than that each year oncoffee.) The IRS would not need to get a warrant, court order, or show probable cause. If they want to look at the credit union accounts for your son Trip, Aunt Doris, and your dad’s best friend’s gardener, they can.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says she doesn’t consider this an invasion of privacy. Apparently, she doesn’t know the definition of the term. For more detail, see here.

The same administration that wants you to believe they are only interested in going after rich people wants to see the finances of essentially every person in America. Do you contribute money to the church or Salvation Army? Team Biden will know. Do you smoke, drink a lot, or have weed delivered to your front door? They will know. Do you have an account with a porn site, buy things from Frederick’s of Hollywood (if they still exist), or collect posters of Hillary Duff? They will know.

Yellen says they need this information because too many billionaires aren’t paying enough in taxes. It is hard to decide what is worse: the fact that they lie or that they think we are too stupid to know it.

Covid vs. Constitutional Government

Covid Policy is at odds with conservative, Constitutional principles

  • Oct. 14, 2021
  • 2-min read

There are some common-sense principles that should be used to make governmental decisions on major issues of our day. These come quickly to mind as we look at our response to Covid. Time-honored truths have been ignored, and we will be paying the price for years.

Decisions to lockdown the economy, trample on constitutional rights, and issue a series of mandates are possibly the worst in our national history. The pandemic has had an indelible impact on America, and the wounds were mostly unnecessary, unhelpful, and self-inflicted.

First, government should follow strategies that have proven benefits. If we did that, we would have had no mask mandates. There is scant evidence they help. When pushed for proof that masks work, even the Director of the CDC was unable to offer any.
Likewise, lockdowns would not have passed muster. Yet we had a national lockdown, that was essentially global as well. Some restrictions remain from the pause that was billed as “two weeks to stop the spread.”
