Biden Wants to Change the World’s Most Successful Economic System

Rob Meyne

Last week, White House prevaricator-in-chief, Jen Psaki, mentioned that the President wants to make “fundamental change” in our economy. She gave an air of urgency comparable to an announcement of what flavor of ice cream Biden chose. See here.

Psaki added that Biden thinks the pandemic is the perfect opportunity to launch a total rehaul of our economy. WTF? Why does that make sense? Even if one wanted to restructure the economy, why would it make sense to do it at a time when people are struggling to get jobs, earn a living, and get back to normal? It is like changing the rule in the middle of a game you are already losing.

Fundamental change? Who signed up for that? Did he campaign on that? Or anything, for that matter, on those race occasions when he ventured out of his basement?

You may remember this event from February 2. Biden wandered outside his house, saw his shadow, and that meant 2021 would be another year of incompetence and mendacity.

If January 6 Was So Bad,
Why Do They Lie About It?

Rob Meyne

  • Oct. 18, 2021
  • 1-min read

The mainstream media, leftists, socialists, Democratic leaders, and anti-Trumpers – but I repeat myself – have worked 24/7 to convince you the January 6 riot was worse than it was.

Question: if January 6 was the worst attack on our democracy in history, WHY do they have to lie, exaggerate, and claim it was something it was not? No one had to exaggerate the negative aspects of the Civil War, MLK assassination, or 9-11. Those were genuinely terrible events based entirely on a reasonable look at the facts.

Yet, with January 6, there are non-stop articles that exaggerate, mischaracterize, and lie.

The attached article raises just five of the lies and injustices that are involved in reacting to these events. Among them:

  • A federal judge has ordered an investigation into violations of civil rights of people arrested in the riot. Some have even been denied necessary medical care.
  • People are being sentenced to longer terms than even prosecutors requested, for crimes as innocuous as entering the Capitol to take selfies.
  • People have been held in solitary confinement for being in the Capitol, denied bail, and not yet even assigned a trial date.
  • No one has been charged with insurrection, treason, etc. The FBI has said they found no evidence that it was a coordinated, planned, national act of insurrection.
  • The most egregious lie being spread is that the attack was deadly. Well, it was if you were a Trump supporter. The ONLY person killed in the Capitol was Ashli Babbitt, a veteran who was shot, in cold blood, with no warning, by a Capitol Police Officer. She was unarmed and presented no threat to anyone. Yet the officer claimed he saved lives that day.

In addition to Babbitt, a Capitol Police officer died later, after the riot, from a stroke. Others also died from natural causes. But Trump supporters killed no one. They carried no guns. And they did not present a deadly threat. Period.

There isn’t a person in leadership or prominent in the media who has said the January 6 attack was a good thing. None. For the nascent fascists in charge of our nation, however, it is important for you to believe it was something that it was not: a planned, deadly, coordinated effort to overthrow the government carried out by armed domestic terrorists.

It was a mostly impromptu riot, with fights and scuffles, by people who are frustrated by an election they do not believe was legally conducted. The violence they actually carried out was bad enough. No one defends it. But it was not the worst attack on our Democracy in a century. Anyone who claims that is either uninformed or intentionally lying to you. Or both.

The IRS Wants to Look in Your Wallet

Rob Meyne

  • Oct. 15, 2021
  • 1-min read

The IRS is ready to peer into your purse or wallet. Well, at least your bank account.

Bien’s $3.5 trillion dollar bill includes more than spending. It is a blueprint for the economic restructuring and a wholesale shift in our priorities. It sets the stage for a move away from an entrepreneurial, capitalist, free society to one dedicated to reallocating wealth, distributing assets based on sex and skin color, and ensuring equality of result rather than opportunity.

The Biden Administration announced this change in federal policy in its first few days. They said their goal is equity (equal results) in federal programs rather than equal opportunity. The former is socialist dogma; the latter is the basis of a free constitutional republic.

It is hard to think of a change in policy that could be more important.

Washington is also determined to spy on your personal, private financial matters. The legislation contains a provision that will give the IRS access to your bank accounts if they involve an annual aggregate amount of $600 or more. (Many Americans spend more than that each year oncoffee.) The IRS would not need to get a warrant, court order, or show probable cause. If they want to look at the credit union accounts for your son Trip, Aunt Doris, and your dad’s best friend’s gardener, they can.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says she doesn’t consider this an invasion of privacy. Apparently, she doesn’t know the definition of the term. For more detail, see here.

The same administration that wants you to believe they are only interested in going after rich people wants to see the finances of essentially every person in America. Do you contribute money to the church or Salvation Army? Team Biden will know. Do you smoke, drink a lot, or have weed delivered to your front door? They will know. Do you have an account with a porn site, buy things from Frederick’s of Hollywood (if they still exist), or collect posters of Hillary Duff? They will know.

Yellen says they need this information because too many billionaires aren’t paying enough in taxes. It is hard to decide what is worse: the fact that they lie or that they think we are too stupid to know it.

Covid vs. Constitutional Government

Covid Policy is at odds with conservative, Constitutional principles

  • Oct. 14, 2021
  • 2-min read

There are some common-sense principles that should be used to make governmental decisions on major issues of our day. These come quickly to mind as we look at our response to Covid. Time-honored truths have been ignored, and we will be paying the price for years.

Decisions to lockdown the economy, trample on constitutional rights, and issue a series of mandates are possibly the worst in our national history. The pandemic has had an indelible impact on America, and the wounds were mostly unnecessary, unhelpful, and self-inflicted.

First, government should follow strategies that have proven benefits. If we did that, we would have had no mask mandates. There is scant evidence they help. When pushed for proof that masks work, even the Director of the CDC was unable to offer any.
Likewise, lockdowns would not have passed muster. Yet we had a national lockdown, that was essentially global as well. Some restrictions remain from the pause that was billed as “two weeks to stop the spread.”

Leftists are the Science Deniers

Leftists are Science Deniers

  • Oct. 13, 2021
  • 2-min read

There is an extensive list of falsehoods the left/politically correct crowd needs you to believe to support their agenda. It is frankly impressive how boldly they insist you believe a variety of falsehoods about America. This requires brazen disregard for the facts.

This kind of chutzpah far exceeds anything even rabid Trump supporters possess in maintaining the 2020 election was problematic. If Trump is promoting the “Big Lie,” the left is promoting a patchwork quilt of them. They lie easily and often, on topics such as whether the rich pay taxes to how many people were left behind in Afghanistan and how many illegals are flooding the country.

Biden wants young black kids to think they are in daily danger of being slaughtered by police officers who want to kill them solely because of their race.

Facebook/Fakebook’s Misleading “Whistleblower” Narrative

By Rob Meyne

Fakebook Wants Regulation

  • Oct. 8, 2021
  • 4-min read

If all you do is read the headlines or watch the tv while napping, you miss the most important elements of many stories. This week saw a well-coordinated effort to present a misleading narrative on Facebook/Fakebook. The long-term strategy is to further justify, or even require, censorship by social media. It featured a Facebook executive in a media campaign planned and directed by Bill Burton, the former Obama message maven, and his agency, as outlined here.

Sunday, Sixty Minutes aired a story about a supposed “whistleblower” who discussed internal research by Facebook that revealed damaging information about its business. It raised issues that have received little or no attention from management. Facebook, unsurprisingly, prioritizes profits and power, and has failed to address a number of problematic effects it has on users, notably young people.

Leftists Are Trying to Redefine Racism

Fighting Racism Sets Us All Free

Many on the left want to atone for past racism by expanding today’s racism

Rob Meyne

  • Sept. 30, 2021

Part One

If you believe people should be treated the same regardless of race, you are not racist. Period. Racists treat people differently because of race. You may treat some better, others worse, but disparate treatment of others based on race is racism. It is that simple.
A familiar guideline is the Golden Rule, a nugget of wisdom that appears in many cultures. It is probably best known today as a biblical reference. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

If the above seems obvious, you are a reasonable person.

None of that suggests we are incapable of improving. No one acts impeccably. We make mistakes and often don’t live up to our own standards. But the suggestion that all white people are racist, that we can’t be “saved,” and our nation has to be fundamentally rebuilt is dangerous tripe.

Democrats Are Officially America’s Socialist Party

Rob Meyne

  • Sept. 21, 2021
  • 3-min read

I am repeatedly astounded by the hatred that is spouted by the left on a regular basis. Leftists, anti-Trumpers, and the media (but I repeat myself) are the best examples extant of political “projection,” the tendency to accuse others of that which you are doing.

There is hypocrisy all around. True enough. That said, one party is in charge of the federal government. It shows no actual interest in bipartisanship. Its main tenets are based on lies or exaggerations. And the bile and corruption from people in charge is more damaging than from those who are on the sidelines. A bad decision by the quarterback on the field does more damage than anything done by the back-up sitting on the bench.

I wish we had better choices. I am not in love with the Republican Party, either. But politics is about dealing with the world as it is. The greatest so
urce of vitriol and hate currently is the left. And it isn’t even close.

Calling America a Cult Is Useful for Leftists and Anti-Trumpers

Flyover

  • Sept. 6, 2021
  • 2-min read

The nature of politics is that people don’t always have to answer for their actions and mistakes. Same goes for life in general. That’s probably a good thing. Count me among those who wouldn’t look forward to such an exercise, at least not in a terrestrial environment. I expect to be held accountable in the next life, but if I can skate for a while, in this one, cool.

Yet, it is frustrating that few significant political actors are held accountable for their roles in putting people in office who then damage the country. It is easy to vote for someone who ends up being a disaster and avoid accountability simply by staying out of relevant discussions. If you are a Jets fan you probably didn’t start a lot of discussions about football last year.

Watching America Surrender

Sadia Pirouzi, one of 4 women pilots in the Afghan Air Force, has been stoned to death by the Taliban. If we had an honest and effective media, you would hear her name repeatedly. If the major women’s rights groups or Democratic leadership, who claim to have a monopolies on compassion for such people, would be expressing their outrage. Their silence is just further proof of their hypocrisy. Unfortunately, Pirouzi’s death is just a preview of things to come.
