The FBI and DOJ Were Once Respected: We Used to Have Dinosaurs, Too

In this photo we see Bob Mueller lying, We know that because people who attended the event confirmed his lips were moving.

When we last visited, we had begun to discuss the decline of the FBI. Its failures go hand in hand with the corruption of the DOJ. At one point, our nationally prominent law enforcement apparatus was the envy of the world. No more.

Here are a few more instances to ponder.

As much as you may have grown weary of hearing about it, remember Hillary’s emails? There was abundant evidence she committed a crime. The FBI director laid it out publicly. Yet, “J. Edgar” Comey took it upon himself to announce a decision not to prosecute. In spite of the fact that he has zero authority to make that determination.

If You Aren’t Worried About the DOJ and FBI, You Aren’t Paying Attention

Two-Tiered Law Enforcement is Here

Once respected, the FBI has become a disgrace

At one point most of us trusted the nation’s pre-imminent law enforcement agency to be effective, honorable, and non-partisan. I remember watching the FBI Story, with Jimmy Stewart (he was in the movie, not watching with me). A good flick that holds up well.
No institution has ever been perfect, but Americans in general had confidence in the FBI. Even under the tutelage of a flawed and narcissistic J. Edgar Hoover, the agency was revered. (If people had known Hoover was dressing up in women’s clothes, as widely reported, it might have changed things years ago. Today, of course, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Cross-dressing? Who doesn’t?) The agency that was once thought to be above politics is now a hostage to it.

How Much Reality Must We Ignore to Be Leftists?

Prevarication is the coin of the political realm. No political party or ideology has a monopoly on it. But when one party is in charge in Washington, and so much of their agenda hangs on Americans believing falsehoods, it is important to point it out.
The Democratic Party has lost a lot of support among middle-class working voters. They have lost some support among blacks and Hispanics. They are increasingly, compared to Republicans, the party of the rich. They depend on an ability to cobble together a loose coalition of groups, who have little else in common, on election day.

Are You Joining the Battle or Watching from the Sidelines?

Don’t Be Afraid to Defend Your Views

As we’ve said before, neither major national political party fully deserves our fealty. However, you do have only one choice if you believe in constitutional government, individual rights, freedom, capitalism, and American exceptionalism.

Third parties? Maybe someday. But if you vote third party for president, at this point, you are throwing your vote away. Sorry, but that just happens to be the truth. In presidential contests, as in choosing a political party, Americans face a binary choice. If you want to be relevant, to matter, you have to side with the Democrats or Republicans. That doesn’t mean you have to be blindly loyal, but it does mean you have to have a default position for or against one side.

The Liar In Chief

Rob Meyne

Among the more ironic, and indefensible, attacks on the Trump Presidency is the assertion – repeated so widely it is almost never challenged – that Trump lies more than others. That is nonsense. Not to say he hasn’t lied – so have you – but he is no more reprehensible in this regard than his opponents and peers.

“How do you know a politician is lying? His lips are moving.”

“What do you call a thousand politicians lying on the bottom of the ocean? A good start.”

If You’re Ever Going to Defend
Free Speech, The Time is Now

Speech is the foundation of our republic.

Of all the criticisms that have been made about me – it is not a short list – no one has ever suggested I am shy about expressing my opinion. It has been said I can walk into an empty room and start an argument. There is probably some truth to that.
However, I will never have to regret I was unwilling to take a stand. No one says “Why won’t Rob just tell us what he thinks?”

Plus, in politics, over-reaction is often the coin of the realm.

Today, we face political developments so damaging to the fabric of our republic that exaggeration is hardly possible. Do you believe the damage being done to our nation, in particular to the First Amendment, is defensible? If so, with all due respect, you are either uninformed, don’t understand the essential role of freedom in our nation, or are actively seeking to bring it down. There are no other options.

US Healthcare Provides the Highest Life Expectancy in the World

PART ONE

If we were asked what single issue presents the greatest clarity regarding the main differences between constitutional conservatives and leftists, it would be hard to come up with a better example than healthcare. More than any issue, how a candidate or elected official discusses healthcare gives you a window into their political soul.

Our health is perennially ranked, based on surveys of American values, at the very top of our concerns. Nothing matters more to us, as a nation, than health and safety. It is therefore logical that, in recent years, there has been a great deal of criticism of the effectiveness of the U. S. healthcare system. As has been widely reported, ours is the costliest in the world. However, many critics assert that we do not deliver quality of care.

Two Questions for Biden

NY Post says President Biden is “Glazed and Confused”

The past few days have presented a cornucopia of examples of precisely how different things are in the still relatively new Biden Presidency. A couple of examples, with more to come.

First, consider the events of June 6. The anniversary of D-Day. This is a good time to remember – it can be argued it was the most important military action in world history – the events that began to turn the tables in WW II.

If His Lips Are Moving, He Is Lying

Dr. Anthony Fauci

How many times do we need to learn this lesson? When an important story hits the news, our first impressions are often wrong. Sometimes, it takes months for full and accurate information to come to light. This is especially true if it is a politically charged story involving partisan discord.

The situation has been exacerbated by the willingness of social media outlets to censor information. Also culpable is the mainstream media, as they have largely abandoned of any pretense of objectivity. Most major media outlets today openly champion one political viewpoint or another, and few even make an effort to appear unbiased.

With Friends Like Congresswoman
Liz Cheney, Who Needs Enemies?

Anti-Trumpers, as a group, have received more than their fair share of attention. They fulfill the wildest dreams of many on the left and in the media, but I repeat myself, because they love nothing more than disloyal Republicans.

It brings them even more joy if they blame Trump for specific atrocities. A home run for them is when RINOs place blame on Trump for the “deadly” actions on January 6. Such accusations are uninformed, politically bigoted, or both. Blaming acts of violence on the politicians the criminals support is almost never reasonable and represents lazy and misleading thinking.
